Emergency Road Closure Near Thornhill

An emergency road closure has been put into force 1 mile east of the village of Thornhill.Scotrail sought the closure over concerns with the structural integrity of the railway bridge near to the old Thornhill station.A spokesman for D&G council said that the closure and diversion maybe in place for up to 5 days to allow assesment and repairs.
