Fire in Newton Stewart

Police report that the Fire and Rescue Service are currently dealing with a fire at the rear of the premises of SD Tool Hire on the Barnkirk Industrial Estate in Newton Stewart. An exclusion zone has been set up around the premises due to the presence of gas cylinders and as a result traffic is being diverted away from the area. Police ask that motorists avoid the area until further notice.
