Get set for Christmas with the new Cook with Confidence course starting on Wednesday 17th November. The four week course runs from 10.30 – 12.30 on Wednesdays in Castle Douglas Community Centre. There will be a chance to get tips and recipes, and make a variety of treats. Eight places are available, but filling the course is filling up fast.
The Council also continues to offer Taster Sessions on Wednesday evenings in November. Each Taster Session runs from 7:00-8:30pm in Castle Douglas Community Centre.

* Internet Awareness (24th November).
The sessions will give participants a flavour of courses which will run in the New Year. Lindsay from the Friday Morning Drop-in will be there with more information and details of how to sign up for the courses, which will start early 2011.
