Police are seeking information in the following cases
Break-in – Dumfries
Over £100 in cash was stolen in a break-in to Marchbanks Bakers in Lincluden Road in Dumfries sometime between 1530 hours on Tuesday 2 and 0630 hours on Wednesday 3 September 2014.
Vandalism – Brydekirk
A grey coloured Peugeot 407 car had a window smashed while it was parked in Bridge Street in Brydekirk at around 1100 hours on Wednesday 3 September 2014. Police was to trace the male driver of a burgundy coloured car who was seen to cause the damage and then drove off. He is described as being 5’7” tall, slim, wearing a grey baseball cap.
Vandalism – Dumfries
A Renault Laguna car had a tyre damaged while parked in Hillside Drive in Dumfries between 2030 hours and 2105 hours on Wednesday 3 September 2014.
Attempted break-in – Newton Stewart
An attempt was made to break into a house in Douglas Terrace in Newton Stewart at around 1600 hours on Wednesday 3 September 2014. No entry was gained to the property.
Suspicious Incident – New Abbey
Police are investigating an incident which happened in the fields at Ingleston Farm, New Abbey, where a length of the tail of an Irish Cobb horse was cut off, sometime between 0700 hours and 1830 hours on Wednesday 3 September 2014. Police are appealing for anyone who may have been in area to get in touch if they saw anything suspicious.
Road Crash – Sanquhar
Police want to trace the driver of a vehicle who may have witnessed a road crash on the A76 road just north of Kirkconnel at around 2015 hours on Wednesday 3 September 2014. At that time a silver blue coloured Hyundai Accent car left the road and ended up on its roof in a ditch. The male driver and passenger were unhurt. The car police want to trace would have been driving north at the scene at the time.
