    Have to say I agree with Miss Preston above, what a lot of waffle from our MP, ‘be on the look out for cheap electrical goods’, how about doing what you were supposed to do when your party was in power and invest in job creation for the youth of Dumfries, lest we go down the same road as the disenfranchised youth of England.

    Presumably Mr Brown will also be calling for the pardon and release of Charlie Gilmore who was sent to prison for 16 months for swinging on a flag at the Cenotaph during the student protests.

    Naturally, the poor wee soul has his expenses covered for breaking his holiday in Lincolnshire…

    What an opportunist! Russel Brown should not comment on issues he knows nothing about. Any opportunity to get his voice on the radio, even if he’s talking rubbish. That seems to be his motto.
