Superfast broadband pilot comes to Annan!

Funding has been secured through Scottish Government and Dumfries & Galloway Council to deliver a Next Generation broadband pilot for Annan.
The Pathfinder South: Annan Next Generation Broadband Pilot will expand the existing Pathfinder South network, currently only used by the local authority, to deliver Next Generation Broadband to the residents and businesses of Annan.
The project is integral to and will inform the wider South of Scotland Broadband Delivery UK (BDUK) Local Broadband Plan for the South of Scotland which is currently in progress.
The project will deliver against the key objectives of the Scottish Government’s Scotland’s Digital Future Strategy by encouraging digital participation, growing the digital economy and support new ways of delivering public services.
