Update on fatal accident on A709 near Lochmaben –man who died named as Grant Bark

Police can now confirm that the name of the man who died as a result of injuries sustained following the fatal road traffic collision which occurred on the A709 road just outside Lochmaben about 1200 hours today (Thursday 11 November 2010) is GRANT BARK Aged 21 Years, from Lochmaben.
The collision involved two vehicles, a silver Vauxhall Corsa car and a black Renault Scenic car. A full crash investigation examination of the scene has been carried out.
The A709 road has now been reopened.
Police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to contact police on 0845 600 5701.
