31 year old man found dead near Newington Sports Centre Annan, named as Piotr Chrapek

Police in Annan are dealing with the sudden death of a 31 year old man who’s body was found at the rear of the Newington Sports and Leisure complex in Springbells Road in Annan around 0800 hours today (Thursday 9 December 2010).
The body of the man, named as Piotr Chrapek from Hillview Crescent, Annan, has been removed and at this stage there don’t appear to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death. The Procurator Fiscal has been informed and a post mortem examination has been arranged.
It’s believed that Mr Chrapek has been living in Annan for around 5 years and originally comes from Poland.
