Copper cables stolen from BT depot in Dumfries

Police in Dumfries are appealing for witnesses after a break in to the British Telecom site on Greystone Crescent sometime between 14.30hrs on Tuesday 19 and 07.30hrs on Wednesday 20 April. An amount of copper cabling was stolen in the incident.
Police are particularly keen to trace the driver of a white van seen in the area between 03.30hrs and 04.50hrs on Wednesday 20 April. Officers are also keen to speak to a male and female seen walking through St Mary’s Industrial Estate at around 04.15hrs this morning (Wednesday 20 April). They were last seen heading towards Edinburgh Road.
