A710 closed at Whinnyhill, due to accident

Police are advising motorists that the A710, Dumfries to New Abbey road is closed at Whinnyhill near Islesteps, Dumfries following a road traffic accident.
Early information suggests the road collision involves two vehicles. Drivers are asked to exercise patience, avoid the area if possible and expect delays if travelling nearby.
