Cammy Black & Grant Dinwoodie – Guests on The Thursday Night Showcase

Tomorrow we night on the Thursday Night Showcase, it will be a Small Town Sounds Special! We’ll be telling you all about Small Town Sounds; what it is, why we are doing it, and the ups and downs we’ve had!
Ross and I will be joined in the studio by Cammy Black, and Grant Dinwoodie from The Yahs – both of whom will be playing the launch gig at The Venue on Friday night.
Grant was my first ever guest on the Thursday Night Showcase way back in December 2012 when he came into the studio with Alex Roberts to talk about the Comlongon Rocks Christmas Gathering. He also came on the show when I took a rare week off and the late Deno Jardine filled in for me. Grant is a great guest and a total charmer, and also the epitome of a rockstar (anyone who has seen The Yahs play live will know what I mean) so I’m really looking forward to having him back on the show!
Cammy came onto my show at the start of the year where we did an hour long Cammy Black special where he talked about the band, their new EP and also his own personal music tastes (yes, Bruce Springsteen was included!). The show he appeared on was one of the most listened to shows I have ever done, with SO many people texting in with messages of support for Cammy and the band. I’m really excited to have him back in tomorrow night (as is Ross, but that’s really because he’s got a man-crush on him).
