Members of the Christie Commission are visiting Dumfries and Galloway to consult local people on the future delivery of public services.
This is one of a series of public ‘Discussion Events’ being held across Scotland and the Commissioners will be seeking views on:
– how public services can best achieve positive outcomes for and with the people of Scotland
– how wider organisational arrangements support and enable the delivery of effective services
– and what shared values and ethos should underpin Scotland’s public services.
The event which is open to the public, will take place in Moffat Town Hall, High Street, Moffat, DG10 9HF on Tuesday 22 March at 6:00pm.
It is being organised in partnership with Dumfries and Galloway Council and those interested in attending are asked to register by contacting the Community Planning Office on 01387 260332 or by e-mail at carol.marshall@dumgal.gov.uk.
The Commissioners who will be attending are Alex Linkston CBE, Dr Roger Gibbins & Professor James Mitchell.
