The Big Lunch

On Sunday 5 June communities and neighbourhoods in Scotland will come together for the Big Lunch.
This is your chance to have a one day get together where you can meet and become acquainted with your neighbours over lunch, with the aim of strengthening bonds, feeling safer in your neighbourhood and being motivated to start running or getting involved with other local activities.
Last year, an estimated 1 million people across the UK had lunch with their neighbours through a range of activities including street parties, picnics in local parks and small gatherings at home.
The Big Lunch is being backed by a Big Lottery Fund grant of £3.5 million to the Eden Project to run the event in the UK over the next three years.
